We’ve tried a few of the standards and store brands, looking for the best ointment to keep our little guy’s rear all clear.

Was a little like Goldilocks over here.

Got some Boudreaux’s Butt Paste samples from our pediatrician and they worked well.

Noticed the same active ingredient in several of the other brands. Saved a few cents and tried the Target brand. Didn’t work as well. Got a gift of Desitin, a classic. Was utterly terrible – pasty, medicated stink.

We’re back to the Butt Paste. Does the trick, good texture, good smell. And you can get a free sample from the company’s site. Enjoy.
